The Student Electoral Committee (SUELECO) has set April 2, 2024, as the deadline for the submission of aspirants’ application slips and results to its members at the SUG Chamber.
Press Club MAPOLY gathered this from a press statement issued by the committee, jointly signed by Chairman Oluwatobi Matthew and Public Relations Officer Odunayo Adekunle, on March 29, 2024.
Applicants are strongly urged to promptly submit their application forms and accompanying documents to facilitate their verification for the upcoming election. The submission should be made to the designated SUELECO member at the SUG Chamber between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
In the statement, the committee underscores the necessity of printing the application slip from the SUG portal and ensuring it includes the current academic results. This step is vital as it will be utilized to authenticate applications for the forthcoming SRC election.
In the same vein, the committee emphasizes the importance of punctual submission and adherence to the outlined procedure. Cooperation from the student body is solicited, with an explanation provided regarding the significance of the election in establishing a secure and credible environment for all candidates, thereby fostering a fair and democratic electoral process.
This statement reads in part: “We would like to bring to your attention the importance of printing your application slip from the SUG portal with your current result and submitting it to the SULECO member at the SUG Chamber on April 2, 2024. By 8-11 AM.
“This step is crucial as it will be used to verify your application for the upcoming SRC election.
“We want to emphasize the significance of timely submission and adherence to this process.”
