Diamond Bank to issue ATM, ID dual purpose cards to MAPOLY students

Diamond Bank is set issue dual-purpose students identity (ID) and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards to students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY).
Management of the institution also proposed a partnership with the bank in which it will sponsor the activities of MAPOLY Students’ Union (MAPSU).
This was revealed by the Director of Students Affairs, Seyi Shobande at the Jibodu Hall on Wednesday during a meeting with all departmental association presidents, honourables and members of staff.
The representative of the bank, Daniel Agboola said the bank will partner the institution by sponsoring the activities of MAPSU.
Agboola said the cards will perform the functions of both the ID and the ATM cards.
He added that the bank will also donate gadgets and facilities including Ipads and students’ loans etc. that will improve and promote learning among the students.
Shobande described the development as a laudable one. He prayed that the management and members of the Students’ Union see reasons to adopt the proposal.
