The Head of the Department of Estate Management and Valuation, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Samson Agbato has said that students of the department are taught only in the modern way.

The HOD said this during a chat with the Press Club MAPOLY where he counted the achievements of the department adding that the department is one of the  major departments in the institution.

Agbato who mentioned  projection and availability of facilities such as electronic board and suitable classrooms also stressed that their electronic board can connect with any other classroom in world.

It should be recalled that the department recently inaugurated an electronic board which counted as one of their achievements to measure up with any other institution in Nigeria and beyond.

Commenting the development Agbato stressed  that “the essence of the board is to comply with global standards and encourage students to be trained in a modern way as that board can connect with any other classroom in the world.”

Meanwhile  Agbato and the department association president, Comrade Ajibola Akinwande separtely told our correspondents that the students have improved academically.

They said “students performance  is good especially in HND II full time where we have 89 students, of which 82 have upper credit and we also have distinction students”.

However, Akinwande speaking on the needs of the department said, “a gap between practical and theoretical aspects of learning is a hiccup to the department but the departmental management is atop the situation”.
