Council of surveyors gives scholarship, award to MAPOLY students

Council of Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) has promised to give scholarship, award, Industrial Training (I.T.) placement to best students of the Department of Estate Management and Valuation, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.

The council made these promises on Friday during a visitation to the department

President of the council, ESV Joshua Bolarinde urged the students to develop themselves professionally. He also encouraged them to registere with their professional institution.

General Secretary, ESV Victor Makanjuola promised I.T placement in Abuja to three best graduates on National Diploma programmes. He urged other students to go for their industrial training at places where they can garner experience and not just money.

Another member of the council, ESV John Bull offered to pay NIESV registration fee for the HND II students present at the event.

The council also said it will award scholarship to the best HND I student next session.

The Head of department, ESV Samson Agbato who received the guests was elated, he urged students to start thinking about their future and to also tap into the numerous opportunities offered by the department.
